What a crazy first year I've had creating Skelly Chic! And I've loved every minute of it! Even when I was unsure if it was the right direction for me to move in, because you know what? I got so much love and enthusiasm and encouragement from so many skelly-loving people (plus, I sold a bunch of skellies as well, which was great too)! I cannot say how grateful I am to everyone who so much as smiled at me as they walked by my booth at shows and saw the skellies smiling back at them. Whenever I get a genuine, unsolicited reaction like that, I know i'm on the right track! Thank you, and I wish you a happy and healthy new year!
Can't wait to see what's next at Skelly Chic? Me, either! Here's a sneak peek: a full Skelly Chic fabric line in my own Spoonflower shop! Stay tuned for details!
Lee Lee is in great form (look at those crooked glasses!), but don't worry, I'm the designated driver for New Year's Eve, so she's in good hands! What are your big plans for 2014? I'd love to hear about them in the comments!
Lee Lee is all ready for the big day in her holiday sweater, and took some festive selfies to share with you! As you can see, she is excited to watch 'A Christmas Story' for 24 hours! What's your favorite holiday movie (mine is 'It's A Wonderful Life')? Tell me in the comments! Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm on the Skull-A-Day blog this week, giving away a skelly! Pop on over to the Skull-A-Day site for all the details and to enter the contest; while you're there, take a look around their site, it's skulltastic! In the meantime, if you haven't finished your holiday shopping, how about one of these cutie-pie skelly bottlebrush trees? Aren't they cute? I bleached, dyed and glittered them, and of course made a darling skelly to top each one! They are around 3" tall; bigger trees with skellies tucked in throughout range from 4.5" to 9" tall. Email me if you are interested, there are still some left!
I've made a new Etsy treasury….there are some good gift ideas for those of you living in cold climates right now! All the images are live links, so click on them and you'll go directly to their Etsy listing (or see the whole treasury full size). I'm absolutely in love with those mice snuggled in bed together! Which of these caught your eye first? Tell me in the comments!
